Exactly my thoughts. I was surprised Kevin worded the phrase that way as well. Basically telling her to cut his hair too short with the word “don’t” in front of it.
By the way, I feel ripped off. My car only has 4 cup holders.

Again amazing information! Your account of advanced life forms living on earth at some point in the earth’s history had me on the edge of my seat.
I have one huge request. Can you please post some information where we can see the actual map you describe as being so accurate it looks like it is traced from an NASA photograph.
Please also post information on the place in Peru where the 800 ton blocks were found 13,000 feet above sea level cut with laser accuracy.
I’ve done google searches for these items and the web seems to be hiding this information. Please provide a place where we can see these amazing images.

I understand why you got the bad haircut by the chatty hair cutter. Remember when you were a kid the big posters on the roadside said “Don’t Drink and Drive”. Now all the cars have a cup holder and up to 8 holders throughout the car for drinking while you drive. The obvious reason for the billboard was alcohol drinking, which everyone has forgotten. People do not hear DON’T at any time. Don’t think of a pink elephant. Did it didn’t you?
So when you were at the barber, you kept reminding her “don’t cut the hair too short as it stands up” which you said you repeated 5 times. She only heard “cut it short so it stands up”. Words mean so much and how we use them. You are a great word smith. I would recommend saying “keep the back longer so it looks great” (validation and the real message you wanted to get across).
