It is conceivable that humans could someday discover aliens. We scour the cosmos looking for their radio signals, and though we’re not capable of interstellar space travel, it is remotely possible that we could find what we’re looking for right here in our solar system.
Life could theoretically exist on Mars, or on Europa, a moon of Jupiter, which appears to have an underground ocean. It’s even possible (though highly unlikely) that these nearby life forms could be sentient. “It is consistent with current human exploration of the solar system that intelligent beings could have evolved in the deep oceans of Europa,” said Jacob Haqq-Misra, an astronomer at Pennsylvania State University.
Another possibility, Haqq-Misra said, is that “intelligent extraterrestrial beings have traveled from a distant star system and taken up residence in the solar system. They might be living in an underground base on Mars or the moon, or they could be residing in the asteroid belt (or any number of other plausible, albeit unlikely, options).”
Considering these scenarios, what would we do if we encountered an alien race? As it turns out, the question has garnered considerable academic thought since the first reported flying saucer sighting in 1947, not just as an inquiry in human psychology, but also as a way of contemplating what aliens might do if they ever found us. From astronomers to ufologists to anthropologists, scholars who have contemplated the various “contact scenarios” believe our course of action would strongly depend on the relative intelligence level of the newfound beings. Here, we outline what would happen if we encountered primitive, humanlike, and godlike aliens.

321 Gold
By Morris Hubbartt
China continues to make progress in widening the use of the renminbi in global trade. Partner countries are using swap agreements to bypass the US dollar.
China has entered into currency swap agreements with about 20 nations, the largest of which is Brazil. The Reserve Bank of Australia announced they have agreed to a $31 billion currency swap. The economy of Australia is one of the most developed and modern market economies in the world, with a GDP of approximately $1.6 trillion. There is a lot of room for more of these currency swaps.
It is only a matter of time before the renminbi joins the dollar as a major reserve currency, and it may happen sooner than most analysts believe is possible.
Technical analysis supports this fundamental analysis. Major falls in the dollar have historically produced substantial gains for gold. The highs in the dollar in late December and early January were not confirmed by MACD or RSI. Both of these indicators are exhibiting downtrends.
The volume section of the chart looks like a veritable minefield of distribution day landmines that have exploded. The distribution has been relentless for well over six months.

How Wall Street Manipulates and Manufactures Atrocities

An attempted color revolution backed by Wall Street unfolded in Bangkok, Thailand in 2010, leaving 91 dead. Since then, Wall Street as well as its proxies inside of Thailand have attempted to blame all 91 deaths on the Thai military despite overwhelming evidence proving armed militants were involved in the protests — this foreshadowed the techniques now being used on a larger scale in Syria.
High profile deaths including those of foreign journalists caught in the crossfire have become political points of leverage for Wall Street’s media machine (a technique also reused in Syria) and their Thai proxy, billionaire Thaksin Shinawatra. Unfortunately the same craven political stunt employed at the expense of fallen Reuters journalist Hiro Muramoto who was killed during the April 10, 2010 night ambush of Thai troops, is now being used regarding the death of an Italian journalist by the Thai police currently headed by Thaksin Shinawatra’s own brother-in-law.
Police General Priewpan Damapong was appointed as head of Thailand’s police shortly after Thaksin’s own sister took office last July, with much support from Wall Street & London and demonstrating a breathtaking display of third-world nepotism. Damapong, it should be noted, also just recently, and very eagerly, backed claims by both the US and Israel regarding the false flag Bangkok bombing pinned on Iran – illustrating just how interconnected these geopolitical ploys are regardless of geographic distance.
Claims regarding “new evidence” that Italian journalist Fabio Polenghi was killed by a high-velocity bullet during 2010′s unrest, and not an M-79 grenade as previously thought, and therefore “clearly” implicating government troops, echos of similar claims by Thaksin’s associates in regards to Muramoto’s death and conveniently ignores the fact that both government troops and Thaksin’s militants employed not only assault rifles firing high velocity bullets, but both fielded weapons that fired the exact same 5.56mm rounds claimed by Thaksin and his opposition to only have been used by government troops.

French Constitutional Court Bans Law Enforcement Use of National Biometric ID Database

By Katitza Rodriguez & Maira Sutton
Last week, the Conseil Constitutionnel, the highest authority on the French Constitution, declared the provisions of a law permitting judicial and police use of a centralized national ID database to be unconstitutional. 200 members of the French Parliament referred the law to the Conseil following the law’s adoption on March 6th. The Conseil determined that the use of the centralized database was incompatible with France’s fundamental rights, including the right to privacy and the presumption of innocence.
The proposed legislation mandated compulsory civilian ID cards containing a chip designed to store personal and biometric information, including home address, marital status, eye colour, and fingerprints. Proponents argued that the biometric ID card would be used to stop “honest folk” from becoming the victims of identity fraud. In fact, the law would have enabled the “honest folk” database to be used for criminal and judicial purposes. The Conseil correctly determined that such uses constituted a serious incursion into the right to private life, disproportionate to the law’s stated objective.
Another provision in the law would have allowed for a second, optional chip to be used for online authentication in e-commerce transactions. The Conseil determined that such use would require too broad a range of personal data to be collected without any guarantees of security and confidentiality. Furthermore, it condemned the law’s vague conditions for authenticating individuals, especially minors. EFF welcomes the Conseil’s decision to strike out substantial parts of the legislation to protect privacy. Nevertheless, the Conseil should explain their unmotivated reasoning behind leaving significant anti-privacy portions of the law intact, namely biometric data collection for the purpose of preventing ID fraud.

Orwellian Free Speech Zones Expand to Mesa, Arizona

“Shouldn’t there be free speech everywhere? Watch the video below. The man interviewing the cop should be given a medal.” –KTRN
The “free speech zone,” despite being anathema to the U.S. Constitution, has been used intermittently since the Vietnam War protests. Their use has expanded ever since to actually hide protesters, as they did during the Democratic and Republican National Conventions in 2004. Under the guise of “public safety” and well-contrived property rights, municipalities are attempting to circumvent the fact that all of America is a free speech zone for those who wish to engage in the political discourse determining their future.
These zones have now become nothing more than a political tool used to alter the perception of media coverage, as supporters are routinely allowed a front-row seat in full view of cameras, while protesters are housed in cages sometimes blocks away from the actual event. Activists have even faced felony charges for their refusal to permit their rights to be violated.
Free speech zones continue their incremental march across America in a variety of locations, as evidenced in the following video from Mesa, AZ where those who wish to express their political views outside the GOP debate are corralled and harassed. However, reporter Shelton Obadiah (4409) doesn’t make it easy for the bureaucrats and petty tyrants he faces:

Lawyer For Soldier Accused Of Afghan Slaughter: ‘Almost Complete Information Blackout’

“Should anyone be surprised by this? What are they trying to hide?” –KTRN
John Henry Browne, the attorney for Staff Sergeant Robert Bales, the man accused of single-handedly massacring 17 Afghan villagers, is now accusing the United States government of “an almost complete information blackout” which is blocking him from preparing a proper defense for Bales.
Browne alleges that he and his legal team has been prevented from being able to interview the witnesses to the tragic incident as well as the injured civilians in southern Afghanistan.
“We were expecting a lot more cooperation. The prosecutors in this case promised us a lot of cooperation which we’re just not getting,” Browne said to reporters in Seattle, Washington.
“We are facing an almost complete information blackout from the government, which is having a devastating effect on our ability to investigate the charges preferred against our client,” he added.
38-year-old Bales allegedly strolled out of his base in Kandahar, a southern Afghan province, without being stopped or questioned, early on March 11, after which he conducted a merciless, calculated assault on two villages killing 17 civilians, including women and children.
However, this case has been rife with inconsistencies and unanswered questions, especially surrounding the possibility of multiple soldiers being involved in the tragic killings.

U.S. Ambassador: Al Qaeda Could Plan Other 9/11 From Afghanistan Unless We Keep Fighting

“The US Ambassador is lying.” –KTRN
According to Ryan Crocker, the American ambassador to Kabul, if the United States does not continue to occupy Afghanistan, al Qaeda would be able to plan and carry out another September 11, 2001-style attack.
Of course, this is hindered by the fact that in reality, neither al Qaeda nor Afghanistan can be held responsible for the tragic events of that day, based on the fact that there is clear evidence of a long-term cover-up and the official story is nothing short of farcical.
Setting aside the fact that the official story we have been sold by our government is full of more holes than Swiss cheese, it is still clear that Crocker is putting forth the same ludicrous fear mongering and disinformation as so many other current and former government officials have.
I have attempted to make it clear to my readers that the supposed date when coalition troops will leave Afghanistan is completely fictitious.
This was first made clear to me last year during the Afghan Loya Jirga and reinforced by decisions to deploy a cutting edge new drone and spend $35 million to expand a prison complex they were supposed to close.
Now Crocker is simply attempting to justify the inevitable sustained presence in Afghanistan by claiming that if we leave it will become a base for terrorists to operate from and strike Western targets.

Junk Food, Fast Food Proven to Cause Depression

“If you already don’t have enough reasons to stop eating garbage, here is another one.” –KTRN
According to recent research conducted by scientists from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and the University of Granada, both junk food and fast food consumption ignites depression. In fact, the study, published in the journal Public Health Nutrition, shows that those consuming fast food are 51 percent more likely to be depressed than those consuming very little or none of the health-damaging food. What’s more, depression risk was found to increase with the more fast food and junk food consumed.
The study sample involved 8,964 participants, all of whom have never been diagnosed with depression and have never taken any medication for depression. After a six month assessment, 493 became diagnosed with depression or began taking antidepressant medications — which have previously been shown to actually make depression even worse. The current results support what the SUN project, a lifestyle tracking program, have found in 2011 where a 42 percent increase in depression risk was found with those consuming fast food. Additionally, the increase in depression risk was just as high with the consumption of baked goods and junk food.
The research adds further evidence as to why everyone should avoid fast food at all costs. Representing some of the lowest-quality food on planet earth, fast food is loaded with health-wrecking ingredients, while the food itself is cooked in the most unhealthy manner possible. The meat used is conventional, and thus loaded with antibiotics, growth hormones, and up until recently was loaded with ammonia-treated ‘pink slime’ scrap meat.

“So apparently more than a million signatures is not enough for the FDA.” –KTRN
The FDA is with Monsanto and agribusiness. They don’t want you to know what’s in the food you eat.
On Tuesday, the FDA reached a deadline for the “Just Label It” petition calling for GMO to be included on food content labels.
The FDA said it had not made a decision and needs more time to think it over.
It also said the petition with over a million signatures – far larger than any other the agency has ever received – counts as only one signature.
“The agency says that if 35,000 people, for instance, sign their name to the same form letter it only counts as one person or ‘comment.’ And if tens of thousands sign a petition, they are only counted as one ‘comment,’ too,” reports the Chicago Tribune.
Every major poll on genetically engineered food labeling is overwhelmingly supported by Americans despite efforts by Monsanto and the GMO industry to convince them otherwise.
