Manhattan artist Sally Davies has photographed a McDonald’s Happy Meal every day for six months. And it looks almost as fresh as the day it was bought, with no trace of decay.
The Daily Mail reports:
“In a work entitled The Happy Meal Project, Mrs. Davies, 54, has charted the seemingly indestructible fast food meals’ progress as it refuses to yield to the forces of nature.”
However, it turns out that Davies has some catching up to do. A Hamburger Today reports that wellness educator and nutrition consultant Karen Hanrahan has kept a McDonald’s hamburger since 1996, which is pictured on the left below. As you can see, it still looks the same as the fresh one on the right next to it!

the 14 year burger looks better than the new one i guess they made things bette years ago,i got to get a cleanse the big mac i ate 14 years ago maybe it is still in my stomach !!!!
Someone should make the VERY FIRST Organic Burger Restaurant and Clearly label that the list of ingredients in the WHOLE BURGER is less than just the “meat” of a burger in a crap food restaurant!
I told my friends about this, and they didn’t believe a word I said.
Is it the burger on the right that is 14 years old?
I really can’t tell…. i don’t want that in my body…that’s insane…
Disgusting BigMac. No wonder many people are getting oversized BigMac. I will never eat in fastfood restaurant in zillion years.
