I have watched many of your shows so far, Kevin and this one is my absolute favorite. It’s true when they say, “you look beautiful when you’re angry …”
I laughed quite a bit. Your commentaries are great and, you are a brave and wonderful man. I think the black background is perfectly fine. Black is a masculine color and as they say, “black is beautiful!” I think you are kind to ask us but, whatever you like best should be in the background and you should change it as often as you like. If you go into the gov how could you feel safe, Kevin? All your fans would would worry. As it is, how is that you can get around safely with all the disclosures? I hope God always protects you and that you get the support you need to run for office if that’s what you want. You would be the finest politican we could possibly have. Run for President!

NO kevin i do not like the DARK black background you have, it is degrading to black people and you need to get that DARK BLACK NIGGER COLOR off the background please. KT: The black backdrop looks great. I would suggest KTRN consider mixing it up from time to time. Just like you mix up your outfits, hats and sunglasses to portray a different vibe, you could mix up your backgrouds too. Either way, I’m in it for you and your content. This is a comment on the 8/5 show. I admit that I did not have the time to read comments sent to you. But, I heard Kevin dogging the people who left comments related to the information they found out about the constitution and tax laws, etc. Wait a minute. Doesn’t Kevin go on and on every day on his show about the constitution says this, and the constitution says that? It seems that Kevin is trashing his listeners for doing the same thing that he does (research, read, repeat). The golden rule is said to be “he who has the gold, makes the rules.” It sounds more like, “he who has the most guns, make the rules.”
I like the black curtain-drop; it sort of intensifies every other color in its surroundings, especially the golden mic. It’s like the Kaaba at Mecca (black and gold), so you know I’m for it. Hehe.
I’d recommend no curtain. I’d just go with a black colored wall instead. Just my opinion. All the best and thank you for everything you do Kevin!
Kevin, Love your show! Hate that black background! It’s darkens the energy. Where are you, in a morgue? Black absorbs energy, does not reflect it. Black cannot radiate light. Kevin, you are a true illuminator; black is not your color.
About the backdrop – to put it in your vernacular from 5-Star – “Whatever you decide is 100% OK with me.” Now it’s time to shut up.

I do love royal blue, but I’m not sure for this show. Would it look like a TSA booth?….
If blue, it can be DARK MARINE BLUE, very supportive, comforting…, not some flashy color even if blue…
Or I am favorable also to something like bookshelves, so it feels DIFFERENT than a professional show like all others. We have to think of what kind of feeling it should give… Would it be the feeling that one man, from his office, with bookshelves, a little guy, different than all others, who have means, is making a difference, cares, but not that much, and the feeling that many of us can relate to this guy and feel like him and feel like doing things also where they are….

Well Kevin, I listen to your show daily. Whether you run and win a federal position is immaterial to our future. Ron Paul tried and failed. The bastards who run our country have the guns and power and don’t care beans about us or our god given rights. As long as they have control, nothing is going to change except that inflation will equal that of Germany and a loaf of bread will cost $1,000.
When inflation has people starving, perhaps the American people will wake up and realize we have to overthrow our government and start anew. How, when, where will it start? I don’t know. I don’t pretend to know the answer. But until the powers that hold the guns are themselves behind bars or under 6 feet of clay, don’t expect much to change. As you say, laws are useless. It’s what the judges and police say that matters. I don’t really want to die opposing our “Law and Order” in the streets with millions of fellow sufferers, but I believe if some miracle doesn’t happen, that is the only way Americans will regain their freedoms. Counting on politicians to do it is like counting on the treasurer in a pirate ship sharing his bounty with the innocent people he just sacked.

I forgot to mention your backdrop. It’s immaterial. You can have purple drapes with pink elephants for all I care. Why the fuss over such nothingness? The only purpose of back drops is to be better able to see the speaker. Anyhing more is for show.
Hi, you’re not kidding when you say that the comments about the black curtain are across the board. I personally have not paid attention to what is behind you for when I tune in my focus is on what you are addressing that day on your show…..so the botton line is that only you know what your current feeling about your back drop is and whatever you decide is perfectly alright with me!

My vote is NO on the black KT.
The Go 5-Star backdrops were very elegant, vibrantly colored, and high-energy.
Maybe you could use a gradient that is similar, or with patriotic colors to fit the theme of the KT show.
Can’t wait to see what you come up with!
The show is fantastic even if the backdrop was a giant picture of Judge Gettleman, its the content that I love!
Hi Kevin, the dark curtain is easier on my light sensitive blue eyes; but then again the black color seems to make you pop out while swallowing everything else in the room up. lol. The chair, table and monitor’s frame all disappear…perhaps I just like a little more contrast, but not necessarily having it too bright.
i think the idea of making sure KT is the focal point is the right idea, but a better color should be chosen. Or use different colors for different moods. Personally, I like a lighter color, like gold. I think some kind of gold hue would be best. It is benefiting, and it opens things up and makes it more spacious looking.
I also think it is important to understand that anything you put back there will be focused on, so, if you do put something back there make it good, choose it carefully.

I think that a bookshell behind you will be better.The black curtains behind you looks like that you are in a prison. It so dark there.
Regarding the American government that broke the constitution, I am shocked because I ran away from a government which is doing that every day.From the communism till now where everything is “free”. People in my country of origin still dream about the communist regime where they have any material necessary staff to survive.It is a paradox because you did not have free speech and will,no enterpreneurship,but only fear at that time…

It seems the majority of folks don’t like the black curtain backdrop. I don’t either. I think the bookcase Idea is pretty good. You had one a few years ago. Perhaps put some of your books on the shelf along with some GIN stuff, just not too much that it makes it look to busy. Perhaps you can Wainscoat the entire wall and have the bookshelf in the middle. Then it will look like you broadcasting from your home library.
Kevin I would also love the comedy series!!! I think you’re sooooo funny and I laugh all the time on your show!!!!! I love the idea!! i am totally in!

Also, I think a book shelf is too busy in the background. Make it simple not too busy for the eyes which creat distraction. Feel free to have a light offshore color drape and every show you can use speam light to create different background colors or themes like most Tv station do ( or the same idea as the go 5 star weekend stage backdrop) so after a week trial of different projected background colors you can view and compare or ask us to vote for a more pleasing background. No black, it’s like an engergy sucker- too dark and too heavy. Thank you for all your initiative to make the show better.

I just check out the black backdrop. I think you should drop it. Whatever you originally had, and I can’t for the life of me remember what it was, suits the radio station just fine. End the debate. Or sorry, the debate is over!! No black curtain it looks terrible. There really was no need to make a change, it was fantastic the way it was studio set-up before.
To resonate with the largest audience possible, I think the office setting (book case) is the way to go.
Hi Kevin. Today’s show “August 4th” was AWESOME!!!!! As far as the backdrop, I kind of agree with Josh on his comment. However, I would like to add, you could also put a big Murial in the background with a picture of you walking into congress with the biggest grin on your face and all the congressmen in a total state of panic. As far as the banks lowering peoples credit scores, I had a friend that went to a used car dealer to purchase a car a couple years ago. He went in with CASH and they told him they would have to run a credit check on him anyway! How crazy is that??? Anyway, take care and keep up the good work!!!! Paul

Personally I like the black backdrop, but I wonder what new people coming to look at the show would think of it. A professional backdrop could potentially have people new to the show still considering if they want to listen to your information more intriqued and interested, like dressing professionally when doing a meeting as per your dress for success audio. That said, you are the best at what you do, and what ever you decided will probably be the best as time passes.

The black backdrop would be good with a heavier material so it doesn’t move and have creases all over it. Plus it makes you and your products “POP” to the foreground compared to the previous background. GOOD QUALITY BLACK BACKDROP – YES!
This makes you look like you’re in a radio studio.
If you make a “Study” design with book shelves etc, your products (the books and vitamins) and flatscreen ads may get lost in the background. It may start looking too busy.
Either way, keep it simple.

Also: excellent when we can see you from the side and you DO NOT LOOK at that second camera. It is relaxing to see you and not feeling you are like those tv monkeys following which camera is on…
You are doing a show and we watch you as if we were there in the studio. That is much better.

Hi KT, Excellent show yesterday. So informative, educational and truthful about Everything. About the black backdrop, it is a no. Since black is kind of a dark and evil looking color. Most of the time I watched the shows, I was scared that the federal agents were hiding behind the curtain and might raid you and the staffs. Just kidding, lol. I think the office look with the shelf of books is better. Also, the best of KTRN is a wonderful idea. Please run for Congress. I got questions for you, since you mentioned Scotty Nguyen on the show.
