Joe Banister is the first and thus far only IRS Criminal Investigation Division Special Agent ever to conduct, while serving as a special agent, an investigation into allegations that the IRS illegally administers and enforces the federal income tax. He respectfully reported the results of his investigation to his IRS superiors, up to and including the IRS Commissioner. Rather than address the legitimate concerns raised by one of their own distinguished investigators, his IRS superiors suspiciously refused to address the chilling evidence of IRS wrongdoing raised in his report and instead encouraged him to resign from his position. Observing that IRS management intended to cover up the deceit and illegal conduct alleged in his report, Banister chose to resign from his position so that he could report his findings to the American public. In effect, Banister had to resign from his position in order to abide by his oath to support and defend the U.S. Constitution.

A major donor to President Barack Obama has been accused of impersonating a banker and defrauding a businessman, touching off another controversy connected to his reelection campaign as it tries to deal with questions regarding another top contributor.
The donor, Abake Assongba of New York, and her husband contributed $50,000 to Obama’s reelection bid this year, according to campaign finance records, The Associated Press reported Monday. Assongba is currently dealing with a civil court case in Florida, where she has been accused of stealing $650,000 to build a new multimillion dollar home there, a charge her husband has denied.
Obama is the only candidate so far who has released his list of “bundlers” – those who arrange big-dollar donations for his campaign – but it has come at a price. Last month the campaign returned a $200,000 donation to Carlos and Alberto Cardona because they are brothers of a Mexican fugitive wanted on drug-related charges, AP reported.
Obama campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt declined to comment to the AP, but told the wire service some 1.3 million people had donated to the president’s reelection bid and that the campaign deals quickly with donation issues.

Political Washington is Wall Street’s best friend. Whatever crooked bankers want they get. Their business model features grand theft. Wealth’s amassed through fraudulent double-dealing.
Lawmakers facilitate their racketeering. They’re rewarded in kind. Only fleeced households, investors, communities and nations lose out.
Their dirty game continues unobstructed. New legislation enhances what’s on the books. Another bill will become law when Obama signs it. Wall Street’s again celebrating, and why not? Business is better than ever, courtesy of complicit lawmakers.
At issue is the Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act (the JOBS Act). On March 8, the House passed it overwhelmingly 390 – 23. On March 22, Senate followed 73 – 26. Doing what he does best, Obama will sign it into law. He’ll again betray America’s 99% in the process.
When everything comes up roses for Wall Street, ordinary people get scammed. It’s the same every time like loaded dice let the house win.
Former bank regulator/financial fraud expert Bill Black explained what’s at stake in his article headlined, “‘The only winning move is not to play’ — the insanity of the regulatory race to the bottom.”
He called the imminent JOBS Act passage reminiscent of the “worst anti-regulatory travesties in the financial sphere (that) had broad, bipartisan support.” Don’t they all, especially in recent decades.
He reviewed some of the worst past legislation and congressional actions, including:
(1) the 1982 Garn-St. Germain Act that gave S & Ls a license to steal.
(2) the 1987 Competitive Equality in Banking Act (CEBA).

On banks’ traditional role as middleman: Some banks do very useful things for the world. According to economic theory, banks act as a middleman. Banks take savings, accumulate money, make loans to companies to invest productively… Middlemen serve a very useful purpose, but should not be very big and should not make a lot of money… based on the efficiency principal.
On what has happened to our elite financial institutions: In the world we live in, finance has become the dog instead of the tail. In the USA, 30% to 40% of all profits in business come from the financial sector. They have become a parasite… They weaken the economy. Overall, finance has lost its way – in an immensely destructive way. Why is it that our most elite institutions are our worst institutions? Why are our most elite institutions the ones that time after time violate the law and cause recurrent intensifying crises?
Why the crisis has not abated in Europe: Europe does not have its own currency. It makes the crisis far worse for them. In Europe it has become a core vs. periphery issue. The core is becoming increasingly furious with the periphery. But the core largely caused the crisis. The victims are being blamed.
On the natural tendency of unregulated capitalism to evolve into crony capitalism: Pure capitalist systems do not exist anywhere – for very good reason; they throw lots of humanity into the ditch, and they produce elite criminals. Unregulated capitalism tends to evolve into crony capitalism. Conservative economists like Adam Smith have recognized this from the beginning. They always emphasize that government must be there. And they always emphasize one key role for government: Enforcing the law against fraud. Even Ayn Rand emphasized that the government is essential to stop businesses from using fraud.
How economics has lost its way: Over the past 30 years in the US and Europe, we have witnessed a new breed of economist – the theoclassical economist – as in economists who maintain views akin to religious dogma. Theoclassical economists believe that government must be removed from everything. The leading theoclassical scholars in economic law have now taught a generation of lawyers that a rule against fraud is not necessary or important. Their position is that markets automatically make fraud disappear. Unfortunately, that is a view that has no basis in reality or in any sound economic theory. It is contradicted by all human experience.

The case of the legendary “Blue Man” whose entire body turned blue after taking a liquid concoction that the mainstream media continues to refer to as “colloidal silver” is a fraud. Contrary to what you may have heard about the incident, 57-year-old Paul Karason from California had not been taking real colloidal silver at all when he turned blue, and the entire charade appears to have been nothing more than a shock-factor story to detract the public from exploring the truth about properly-prepared silver colloids and their incredible power to heal when taken appropriately.
Karason was all over the news in 2008 after having developed a condition known as argyria, which is a permanent blue-ing of the skin caused by the ingestion of too many silver salts and proteins. Karason had been making his own silver mixture at home using salts and extended-length electrolysis to generate a silver chloride solution with large silver particles. In short, this high-risk blend, which is far different from the majority of ionic silver and silver colloid solutions sold at stores, built up in his body and caused him to turn blue.
“The Blue Man story became a major media disinformation event which was produced by a public relations firm and paid for by a pharmaceutical interest,” says Purest Colloids, one producer of true silver colloid solutions. “The purpose of this campaign was to scare the public away from using colloidal silver products.”
