Is Swine Flu Vaccine Causing Miscarriages?
January 18, 2010

Is the H1N1 swine flu vaccine causing miscarriages? Is the vaccine safe for pregnant women to take? Those are questions that thousands upon thousands of pregnant women have wrestled with over the past couple of months as they have decided what to do about the swine flu. The WHO and U.S health authorities insisted that the H1N1 swine flu vaccine was perfectly safe for pregnant women and pushed them to the front of the line. So thousands of women did run out and get themselves injected with the vaccine. Now reports are pouring in from all over the United States of women who have lost their babies very quickly after receiving the H1N1 vaccine. Many of these women are overcome with pain and a feeling of loss and are looking for answers. They end up on sites like this one because the mainstream media won’t touch this story with a ten foot pole (lest they offend the pharmaceutical giants and their millions of dollars in ad money). Fortunately there are alternatives to the mainstream media now. The following are stories from 9 of our readers who have lost their babies very soon after getting the H1N1 swine flu vaccine. We challenge anyone who still believes in the safety of this vaccine to read all of the following stories and then to explain to the rest of us why we should not be concerned.
The truth is that the H1N1 swine flu vaccine is NOT safe for pregnant women. The following are unedited personal testimonies left as comments by readers of this site…..
#1) Kelly:
If you haven’t had a miscarriage, you shouldn’t comment about someone that has. This is my second miscarriage. I know my first miscarriage had absolutely nothing to do with the H1N1 shot (because it was in 2003), however, this time I believe there definitely could be a connection. I had 3 healthy babies after my first miscarriage. When I went to have my H1N1 shot (which was HIGHLY recommended by the Health Office workers since I WAS pregnant and I higher risk of H1N1), I was around 5 weeks pregnant. When I went in for my next ob appointment, I had an ultrasound that showed I was only 5 week and 2 days, although by that point I was almost 9 weeks pregnant. I never had any symptoms. The baby just died. Instead of reading about how pregnant women shouldn’t get the shot, the ONLY thing I read about pregnant women and the H1N1 shot is that they were top priority for the shot and should have it done as soon as possible. My doctor thought I may have just miscalculated and waited another few weeks to test levels (once a week) until we knew for sure what was going on. Three weeks later (should have been 12 weeks pregnant), I was told that the ultrasound was still showing 5 weeks and 2 days and that the baby was no longer living. I had to have a D&C. Not only was the physical pain traumatizing but the emotional pain was beyond bearable. Something needs to be done. PLEASE, take all of this into consideration before deciding if you are going to get the shot. I wish I wouldn’t have… There seems to be WAY too many stories for this to be a coincidence. If this is what our country is coming to, God, please help us all!
#2) Amy:
I got the H1N1 vacc. when I was 4 and a half weeks pregnanat. I started bleeding 2 weeks later and went to the doctor and was tol my pregnancy looked perfect for a 4 and a half week pregnanacy! Sounds like to me that everything was perfect until I got the vacc. We were completely devistated and I wish I knew the risks before I got it, but the docs will tell you miscarriages happen everyday, but that is not good enough for me.
#3) Canada Also:
We were in our 6 month of pregnancy, and we also got the vaccine, We also lost our baby, within 10 days of taking the vaccine. We also asked our Dr what could of caused this, they gave us many reasons, then we brought up H1N1 Vaccine, and before we could get the INE out in vaccine, they dismissed it as possible cause. I asked how could it be everthing else, and this is not even considered and dismissed immediately, I think if they did a study and found out that it does cause miscarriages, they entire health system would be under scrutiny and law suits.
It was our second child of which we do not have history of miscarriages or any medical or health issues. Upon delivery the baby looked pefect and no ambilical chord around its neck.

Many British Rejecting Flu Vaccine
November 18, 2009
Reuters
By Kate Kelland
More than half of Britons being offered vaccination against pandemic H1N1 flu are turning it down because they fear side-effects or think the virus is too mild to bother, a survey of doctors showed on Wednesday.
Many of the 107 family doctors polled by Britain’s Pulse magazine said there was widespread resistance from patients and on average only 46 percent of those offered the vaccination agree to have it.
Doctors reported particular difficulties in persuading pregnant women to be vaccinated against the virus, according to Pulse, a trade newspaper for doctors.
“In all the pregnant women we’ve offered it to, I think only about one in 20 has agreed,” Dr Chris Udenze, a family doctor based in Nottingham, central England, said in the survey.
Skepticism has been growing in Britain and other European countries about health authorities’ handling of the H1N1 pandemic because the number of people infected has been lower than originally feared.
Britain began a vaccination program on October 21 for high-risk hospital patients, front-line healthcare workers, children in seasonal flu risk groups, pregnant women and people with compromised immune systems.
British health authorities have twice revised down their worst-case scenarios for H1N1 flu, which was declared a pandemic in June and has killed more than 7,000 people worldwide, according to latest data from the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control.
Original estimates that as many as 65,000 could die from H1N1 in Britain have now been cut to a prediction of around 1,000 deaths — way below the average annual toll of 4,000 to 8,000 deaths from seasonal winter flu.
Richard Hoey, Pulse’s editor, said his survey showed that many patients, and a substantial number of doctors were “unconvinced there is sufficient evidence that swine flu vaccination is safe and necessary.”
A spokesman for the government’s health department said it was “too early to speculate on uptake rates” for H1N1 vaccines but that doctors were working hard to reach as many patients as possible with their initial supplies.
“We recommend that people in the at risk groups accept the offer of vaccination,” he said. “People in the risk groups are more likely to be severely ill if they catch swine flu, and the vaccine provides the best protection against the disease.”

How to Win Against Food and Skin Allergies with Probiotics
November 18, 2009
Natural News

Most health conscious people know of the positive effects on digestion from using probiotic supplements. Many take probiotic supplements after using antibiotics to replace the good intestinal flora bacteria indiscriminately killed by antibiotic use.
This practice is so well known that even many MD’s are recommending probiotics during and after antibiotics. But there is new evidence that probiotic benefits go beyond that. One area of investigative research concerns building the immune system’s resistance to allergies that affect the skin. An obvious example of a skin’s allergic reaction is eczema, which tends occur more often with infants and toddlers.
A recent Dutch study gathered over 150 pregnant women with allergic disease histories in their families. During the last six weeks of pregnancy, they were given either three strains of probiotics or an inactive placebo pill. Neither they nor the doctors involved knew who received what.
After those pregnant women gave birth, most of their children were still monitored by the Dutch researchers. The children continued to receive probiotics or placebos for 12 months. After three months, the rate of eczema occurring among the probiotic subjects was less than half of those given placebos.
There were no more probiotics or placebos administered to the children after 12 months. However, many were still observed up until age two. As they approached that age, the eczema occurrence gap between the two groups with eczema narrowed somewhat.
But there was still a substantial difference. The study results provided evidence that probiotics can have an effect on offspring from allergy prone mothers, and the report was written up in the Journal of Allergy.
Another recent study published in the Journal of Nutrition involved probiotics administered to mice, with a focus on food allergies. The mice all had whey intolerances, and they were fed probiotics and prebiotics while drinking milk.
H1N1 Vaccine Causes Serious Muscle Disorder & Other Side Effects
November 13, 2009
Attorney At Law
Millions of Americans given the vaccine for the H1N1 “swine flu” virus may be at increased risks of developing a potentially fatal muscle disorder called Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS) and other serious side effects.
The vaccine was rushed into production in the summer of 2009 to brace for an expected rise in H1N1 cases during the winter flu season. By October 2009, many young children, pregnant women, people with weakened immune systems, and others deemed at increased risks of serious health complications from the swine flu were rolling up their sleeves and getting the shots.
Some critics said not enough testing of the vaccine had been done before it was put into use, and not long after the vaccinations began, reports of GBS and other serious side effects started to surface in vaccine recipients. Government health officials insisted the vaccine was adequately tested and safe, with only mild side effects occurring at acceptable rates.
GBS Cases Confirmed in H1N1 Vaccine Patients
GBS is caused when a patient’s immune system attacks the nerves, which results in muscle weakness and can lead to complete paralysis and even death. From October 6 through November 11, 2009, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said there had been six confirmed cases of GBS in H1N1 vaccine patients, although a direct link between the vaccine and the disorder has not been established, officials said.
There were a total of 1,700 reports of adverse events associated with the vaccinations, but only four percent of those reports were “serious.” However, health officials admit that the true number of GBS cases linked to the H1N1 shots may be under-reported, meaning many more cases of the disorder may be out there.
During the 1976 swine flu outbreak, U.S. officials also noted an increase in the rate of GBS in people receiving the shots, but they say it’s still too early to know if the current vaccinations will cause a similar spike in the disease.

Up to eight percent of children have various chronic food allergies. Extending this study to children may prove probiotics to be a useful natural remedy for eliminating food allergies.

Swine Flu: One of the Biggest Coverups in American History
November 10, 2009
Mercola.com
By Dr. Mercola
I have been following the evolving “pandemic” of H1N1 influenza beginning with the original discovery of the infection in Mexico in March of this year. In the course of this study I have tried to utilize as my sources high-quality, peer-reviewed journals, data from the CDC and accepted textbooks of virology.
As with all such studies one has to integrate and correlate previous experiences with epidemics and pandemics. As you will see, a great deal of my material comes from official sources, such as the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Institutes of Health, the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the New England Journal of Medicine. Thus my distracters cannot claim that I am using material that is not within the mainstream.
In the beginning, even before it was declared a level 6 pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO), a group of “scientists” were sounding the alarm that this might indeed be the terrifying, deadly pandemic they had been expecting for over half a century.
Naturally, the vaccine manufacturers were doing all they could to fuel this fear and they were quietly making deals with WHO to be among the companies selected to manufacture the “pandemic” vaccine for the world. Being anointed by WHO would guarantee tens of billions in profits.
As the infection began to spread into the United States and then the rest of the world, its peculiar nature became obvious. Those born before 1950 seem to have a high degree of resistance to the infection and the disease seems slightly more pathogenic (disease causing) among those aged 25 to 49. Early on the official sources declared that pregnant women were at a special risk as compared to the seasonal flu.1 As we shall see later, this was a grand lie.

Wall Street Gets Flu Vaccination First
November 06, 2009
Raw Story
News that US swine flu vaccines, meant to be prioritized for the nation’s most vulnerable, are being distributed to Wall Street firms such as Goldman Sachs sparked uproar Thursday.
The New York Department of Health said Citigroup, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley have applied for supplies of the H1N1 vaccine and are eligible because they are large employers with in-house clinics.
With H1N1 vaccines often scarce and populist anger already raging at Wall Street for last year’s financial meltdown, the news triggered furor.
Anna Burger, secretary-treasurer for the largest US health care union, the SEIU, said it was “obscene” that powerful and wealthy private organizations got vaccines when “at-risk Americans are either waiting in line for hours or getting turned away.
“Last time I checked, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have not prioritized Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein and other Wall Street executives over the rest of America,” Burger said.
Democratic Senator Chris Dodd, from Connecticut, declared he was “stunned.”
“It is shocking to think that private firms would be prioritized ahead of hospitals when the vaccine supply cannot meet the demand,” he wrote in a letter to US Secretary of Health Kathleen Sebelius.
New York City’s health authorities said critics had got their facts wrong.
Banks, as well as two universities in New York, were allowed to make orders because they had their own health clinics and there was enough vaccine to go round, city health spokeswoman Jessica Scaperotti told AFP.
Vaccines will not be given just to any employee, but those falling into official at-risk categories, for example, pregnant women, health care workers, and people with chronic medical conditions, Scaperotti said.
“What they (critics) have to realize is that all providers who order H1N1 vaccine — whether it be a hospital or an employee health service — they have to agree that they’ll only administer the vaccine to people in at-risk groups,” she said.
So far, Citigroup has requested 2,200 vaccines and received 1,200, health department figures show. Goldman Sachs requested 5,400 vaccines and has received 200. Morgan Stanley, which requested 1,500, has not yet received any.
Giant media corporation Time Warner requested 2,000 and has so far received 100.
Scaperotti said 50 employee health clinics in the city had received vaccines. “As more becomes available we expanded that group to include providers that serve adults both in private practice and community settings.”
All Schoolchildren to be Vaccinated Against Swine Flu
November 06, 2009
Guardian
By Owen Bowcott
All healthy schoolchildren may be vaccinated against swine flu, the Department of Health revealed today, as it issued guidance on how to help pregnant women who catch the infection.
Confirmation that the government is considering extending the vaccination programme came as the Conservatives called for all pupils to be immunised against the H1N1 virus.
Cases of the disease in England increased only marginally this week to 84,000, according to official estimates. The latest figures show 154 people have died from swine flu – 105 in England, eight in Wales, 31 in Scotland and 10 in Northern Ireland. Seventeen people have died in the UK in the past week.
The chief medical officer, Sir Liam Donaldson, confirmed the government’s Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation is examining whether to extend the vaccination programme.
Healthy children are not among the priority groups in the first round of vaccinations. “We would hope to take a decision on [inoculating them] in the next few weeks,” he said. “We are looking very hard at the next steps. We will have to work out whether any groups in the healthy population will have to be prioritised.”
The Tory health spokesman, Andrew Lansley, proposed a universal schools vaccination programme. “For weeks now, behind the scenes,” he said, “I have urged the government to go further: they should extend the vaccination programme to schoolchildren and college students.
“Last week in America I met swine flu experts at the Health and Human Services Department. Their data shows the incidence and severity of swine flu is significantly greater in the under-24 age group, compared to the rest of the healthy population. They have called all young people for vaccination, including a school-located vaccination programme. I think we should follow their lead.”
The Department of Health said the US had so far left it up to individual states to determine what they believed were the priority groups deserving protection.
Its new advice to help doctors recognise serious symptoms in pregnant women has been released, suggesting those with high heart rates or shortness of breath when first infected are most at risk of serious illness or death.
The guidance notes that: “Pregnant women have been noted to have a four times higher risk of being hospitalised for complications compared to the non-pregnant population.”
The new guidance also notes that: “The mortality rate for all hospitalised adults is approximately 6%” – a stark figure suggesting that a significant proportion of those admitted for treatment will die.
A Department of Health spokesman added: “The chief medical officer has already announced that the vaccine programme will be extended – we will announce details shortly.”
Poll Indicates Mass Rejection of Swine Flu

A new scientific poll has found that the vast majority of Americans have no intention of rolling up their sleeves for the H1N1 vaccine because they do not trust government assurances that the shot is safe.
In the week that the first H1N1 vaccines have become available, 62% of respondents to ABC News/Washington Post survey said they will probably not get vaccinated, while 30% said they are not confident in the shot’s safety.
The poll shows that the vast majority of Americans would rather risk sickness than trust their government’s advice of necessity, indicating that the $16 million federal propaganda effort is failing.
In addition, the survey reveals that around four parents out of ten say they have no intention of allowing their children to receive the vaccine.
Over half of respondents in that group said that the primary reason they would not allow their kids to be vaccinated was because of the possibility of side effects and suspicions that the shot has not been adequately tested.
The rest cited the belief that H1N1 was not serious enough to warrant vaccination or that getting the shot was not “worth the trouble”.
The results come despite the fact that concerns over getting the flu have also increased significantly from 39% to 52%. More people are worried over H1N1 than they were over bird flu and SARS in 2006 and 2003 respectively, according to the poll.
“These results suggest that encouraging vaccinations depends not merely on warning people about getting the flu but as much on persuading doubters that the vaccine is safe.” The ABC report states.
The numbers in the ABC/Washington Post poll dovetail almost exactly with those in recent AP, Consumer Reports and Harvard University surveys.
Elsewhere there have been mixed reports on the uptake of the vaccine. Some clinics have reported thousands lining up on the streets to get the vaccine, while others have reported very low turnouts.
Chicago has taken the step of making the vaccine free for pregnant women; health-care workers; caregivers of children younger than 6 months; children and adults under 24, and adults who have underlying medical conditions.
Canada Approves Unlicensed Vaccines
October 22,2009
Prevent Diseases
Canada’s largest-ever immunization campaign is about to get underway after the federal government rushed approval for a vaccine that could be administered to the population in as little as a week.
Health Minister Leona Aglukkaq’s office confirmed Wednesday an announcement would be made allowing provinces and territories to proceed with H1N1 flu vaccinations as soon as possible.
It’s Approved
“It’s officially approved,” said Tim Vail, a spokesman for Aglukkaq.
The Public Health Agency of Canada had said it was aiming to have the vaccine available in early November.
Other countries have already begun vaccinations. The United States has started giving swine-flu shots to people in groups thought to be at greater risk.
Japan started its vaccinations Monday and Britain started Wednesday.
Two million doses of the swine-flu vaccine have already been shipped to the provinces and territories to await final sign-off from Ottawa.
The government aims to ship around three million doses a week as the vaccine rolls off the production line.
The vaccine needed regulatory approval before the federal government could give the provinces and territories the green light to start the H1N1 flu shots.
Canadian clinical trials are still underway, but federal health authorities are relying on data from clinical trials done in Europe.
Pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline has a contract to produce 50.4 million doses of pandemic vaccine at its facility in Ste-Foy, Que.
Can You Do The Math?
There are concerns about the new vaccine, which contains adjuvants, or compounds that are claimed to boost the immune system’s response to vaccines.
There’s currently no licensed flu vaccine containing adjuvant in Canada and there are no data on the use of so-called adjuvanted flu vaccine in pregnant women, which may add to the already high degree of reluctance many pregnant women feel about taking any medication or therapy.
There is also little data on the safety of the additives in vaccines given to children.
