As the fraudulent flu shot season is in full swing, retailers who profit from hawking deadly flu shots are resorting to the most bizarre and obnoxious marketing tactics yet devised to convince people to poison themselves with flu shots. As we’ve already documented here on NaturalNews, Walgreens stores are using incentive prizes like iPad awards for employees who push the most flu shots on customers.
A CVS pharmacy has been caught using life-sized grim reapers to promote its own flu shot vaccines.
Safeway stores are announcing 10% discounts on grocery purchases for those who agree to be injected with these flu shot vaccines, which admittedly contain toxic chemical adjuvants and neurological disruptors that can cause permanent neurological damage.
“Yeah, sure, I might experience random seizures and blurred vision now, but I saved 10% on my groceries!”
$500 in prizes for the winners of our flu shot propaganda photo contest!
To expose the unscrupulous propaganda and quackery of the vaccine industry — which has devolved into a bunch of retail snake oil hucksters poisoning the public for profit — we are launching the first ever “flu shot propaganda picture contest!”
To enter the contest, simply snap a photo of flu shot promotions you see somewhere, then email them to us at reply@naturalnews.com using the subject line “FLU SHOT PICTURE ENTRY”.
The pictures must be TRUE and real — no Photoshopped pictures are allowed, please, and no montages or other compilations. Just a real snapshot of a flu shot advertising sign or propaganda campaign of some sort.
We will sort through all the pictures sent to us and pick the top dozen or so for a reader vote. Then we will invite the readers to vote on their favorite pictures.
The top 3 pictures receiving the most votes win!
First prize: $250 gift certificate at the NaturalNews Store.
Second prize: $150 gift certificate at the NaturalNews Store.
Third prize: $100 gift certificate at the NaturalNews Store.
Again, to enter the contest, just email your snapshots to reply@naturalnews.com and use “FLU SHOT PICTURE ENTRY” as the subject line of your email.
Contest rules
1) The picture must have been taken by you, not grabbed off the internet.
2) The picture must be real, not staged, and not Photoshopped beyond basic brightness and contrast adjustments.
3) Contest entries must be received by Friday, November 4, 2011.
4) No VIDEOS. This is for photos only, please. (We may do a video contest later on.)
5) The prize gift certificates are redeemable at the NaturalNews Store, and can be used to buy anything you’d like there, including items already on sale.
6) The contest is open to anyone, anywhere in the world. But the flu shot propaganda itself needs to be in English (if there’s any text in the picture).
7) You agree to allow us to publish any photo you submit. The whole point of this is to share these photos across the ‘net to show how ridiculous and obnoxious the flu shot industry has become.
How to win
We are looking for the most obnoxious flu shot propaganda you can find. The Grim Reapers holding the flu shot sign was pretty funny. Can you find something even more obnoxious?
Can you find examples of outright lies in flu shot marketing propaganda? (Claims that flu shots “protect you from the flu” are pure quackery, for example.)
Use your creativity! We’re looking for photos that evoke a strong emotional response, either of hilarity or disgust.
There probably won’t be a huge number of entries, so by submitting just one photo to us, you have a realistic chance of winning the top prizes!
Go ahead and send your entries to reply@naturalnews.com — please LIMIT your attached photos to 10mb or smaller, or your email will automatically bounce.
We can’t wait to see (and share) your photos. Thank you for participating!
P.S. If you want to be ANONYMOUS, then submit your name as ANONYMOUS with the photo. If you want name credit, then submit your name as you’d like us to credit you. We will gladly credit the winners with a name and website URL.

Stop The Walgreens Flu Shot Harassment

Natural News

Accounts are pouring in to NaturalNews that Walgreens customers feel they are being verbally harassed by Walgreens employees at the checkout counter over flu shots. Multiple accounts from NaturalNews readers describe aggressive verbal harassment by Walgreens employees who appear to be “over the top” in pushing flu shots, even onto pregnant women!
“I get my scripts filled at Walgreens so they know me real well at the one I go to,” one reader told NaturalNews. “When I was pregnant they kept trying to push one on me and I kept refusing them.”
Several readers who say they are Walgreens employees have also reported to NaturalNews — and requested anonymity out of fear of losing their jobs — that they were being rewarded with incentives or threatened with reprimands if they met a certain “goal” of pushing a certain number of customers into getting flu shots. “I have been told that I have to push the flu shot on my customers, arrange flu shot clinics at off-site locations and draw up flu shots to give to the customers,” one person who claimed to be a Walgreens employee told NaturalNews. They added, “Please don’t blame the employees who are asking about the flu shot, they are having their jobs threatened,” indicating the existence of a feeling of intimidation by their employer.
“Another employee informed me that they do not receive bonuses but will receive write ups and threats if they forget to ask each customer who enters their stores if they want a flu shot,” says blogger Aydan in Oak Park, California
“A Walgreen’s employee who checked me out yesterday asked if I had gotten my flu shot,” reports another NaturalNews reader. “I said no. She pressed me to get it. Then, she added that their entire staff was going to be rewarded with iPads when they met their quota.”
CVS pharmacies also appear to be using employees to push flu shots: “I work for CVS and they are making us wear shirts that say get your flu shot today, and [they give a] 50 dollar bonus for whoever has the most sales. I hate my job…” says another NaturalNews reader.
I called Walgreens media relations department to ask whether this pushing of flu shots onto customers was a corporate policy. There, I spoke with Robert Elfinger, a media relations representative for Walgreens. He said he was unaware of any corporate policy asking employees to verbally promote vaccines. He also stated he was unaware of any complaints from customers about Walgreens employees wanting people to get flu shots. So this is neither a denial nor a confirmation of anything; it just says that the Walgreens media relations department isn’t aware of any of this.
Let’s get ‘em in the loop on this, shall we? A lot of people are not happy about how they are being treated at the Walgreens checkout counter. Some Walgreens stores are reportedly getting very aggressive with their pushing of vaccines onto customers, so we have decided to launch a public complaint campaign called Stop the Walgreens Flu Shot Harassment!
This campaign also encompasses CVS pharmacies, by the way (see below), which has its own special ways of pushing flu shot vaccines onto customers.
Lodge your complaint with Walgreens and CVS
Were you verbally bullied by a Walgreens employee over a flu shot? Did you feel uncomfortably pressured, or were you scowled at when you said NO to the flu shot?
Lodge a complaint with Walgreens!
Call their customer service line at: (800) 925-4733
You can also write Walgreens (as in sending a physical letter) at:
Walgreen Company Consumer Relations
1411 Lake Cook Rd, Mail Stop #L428
Deerfield, IL 60015
If you wish to lodge a complaint with CVS pharmacies about being bullied over flu shot marketing aggression, contact them here:
Call the CVS customer service line at: (800) 746-7287
Important tips for submitting complaints: Do not submit complaints to Walgreens from your work computer. Your own employer may track your internet usage and actually punish you for opposing vaccines! (Many employers receive kickbacks from vaccine retailers for “recruiting” their employees for flu shots. We’ll be reporting more on that in the coming days.)
Also, remember that if you submit your email address to Walgreens, they will have your email and they might theoretically use it to email you things like flu shot special offers, for example. So I encourage people to use anonymous emails or “throwaway” email addresses acquired through services such as Hotmail or Yahoo.

Was Bin Laden’s Killing Legal?

By Thomas Darnstädt
US President Barack Obama gets precious few opportunities to announce a victory. So it’s no wonder he chose grand words on Sunday night as the TV crews’ spotlights shone upon him and he informed the nation about the deadly strike against Osama bin Laden. “Justice has been done,” he said.
It may be that this sentence comes back to haunt him in the years to come. What is just about killing a feared terrorist in his home in the middle of Pakistan? For the families of the victims of the 9/11 attacks, and for patriotic Americans who saw their grand nation challenged by a band of criminals, the answer might be simple. But international law experts, who have been grappling with the question of the legal status of the US-led war on terror for years, find Obama’s pithy words on Sunday night more problematic.
Claus Kress, an international law professor at the University of Cologne, argues that achieving retributive justice for crimes, difficult as that may be, is “not achieved through summary executions, but through a punishment that is meted out at the end of a trial.” Kress says the normal way of handling a man who is sought globally for commissioning murder would be to arrest him, put him on trial and ultimately convict him. In the context of international law, military force can be used in the arrest of a suspect, and this may entail gun fire or situations of self-defense that, in the end, leave no other possibility than to kill a highly dangerous and highly suspicious person. These developments can also lead to tragic and inevitable escalations of the justice process.
It is unfortunate. And it is certainly no reason for the indescribable jubilation that broke out on Sunday night across America — and especially not for applause inside the CIA’s operations center.
Not Everything the US Declares To Be War Really Is
But Obama and his predecessor Bush never sought the kind of justice that would have seen bin Laden tried in an international court. As early as his election campaign in 2008, Obama swore he would “kill bin Laden” and finish the job begun by his predecessor after 9/11. “We went to war against al-Qaida to protect our citizens, our friends and our allies,” the president explained on Sunday night. A US national security official didn’t beat around the bush, telling Reuters, “This was a kill operation.” And why shouldn’t it be? The very goal of war is the defeat of the opponent, the killing of enemies through legal means. War is war.
In truth, it isn’t quite that simple. And not everything that the United States declares to be war really is. Legal experts like Kress say it is “questionable whether the USA can still claim to be engaged in an armed conflict with al-Qaida.”
It was certainly still war when Bush began the invasion of Afghanistan in 2001. Operation Enduring Freedom targeted the Taliban government in Kabul as well as Osama bin Laden’s terrorist organization which it backed. At the time, al-Qaida maintained bases and training camps in Afghanistan — just like a warring party, in fact. The war on terror was understood to be an “asymmetrical war,” and the laws of war also permit the targeted killing of non-state combatants, provided they are really combatants who are organized in units with a military-like character, and that they are integrated into those units either as armed fighters or as a leader who issues commands.

The White House backed away Monday evening from key details in its narrative about the raid that killed Osama bin Laden, including claims by senior U.S. officials that the Al Qaeda leader had a weapon and may have fired it during a gun battle with U.S. forces.
Officials also retreated from claims that one of bin Laden’s wives was killed in the raid and that bin Laden was using her as a human shield before she was shot by U.S. forces.
At a televised White House briefing Monday afternoon, Deputy National Security Adviser John Brennan said bin Laden joined in the fight that several residents of the Abbottabad, Pakistan, compound put up against the Navy SEALs during the 40-minute operation.
“He [bin Laden] was engaged in a firefight with those that entered the area of the house he was in. And whether or not he got off any rounds, I quite frankly don’t know,” Brennan said.
At a Pentagon briefing earlier in the day, a senior defense official said bin Laden used a woman as a human shield so he could fire shots. “He was firing behind her,” the official said.
In another background briefing early Monday morning, a senior administration official also said bin Laden put up a fight. “He did resist the assault force. And he was killed in a firefight,” the official said.
However, during a background, off-camera briefing for television reporters later Monday, a senior White House official said bin Laden was not armed when he was killed, apparently by the U.S. raid team.

LA Officer Accused of Shooting Himself, Filing False Report

AOL News
By: Tori Richards
A school police officer who reported getting shot in the chest — prompting the lock-down of 9,000 students during a dragnet — shot himself and has been arrested for filing a false report, authorities said.
During a hastily called news conference, LA Police Chief Charlie Beck said investigators processed more than 350 clues and talked to hundreds of people before concluding that the purported gunman who shot officer Jeffrey Stenroos was fictitious.
“The current state of the investigation refutes Stenroos’ initial account of the incident, and we are now certain that there is no outstanding suspect in this shooting,” Beck said. “We go where our investigations take us — if it is to a suspect that is named in a crime or is to a law enforcement officer of another agency.”
Stenroos claimed that he was on patrol Jan. 19 outside El Camino Real High School in the wealthy Los Angeles suburb of Woodland Hills when he confronted a man who had been breaking into cars. He said the suspect tried to kill him.
The shooting prompted the largest area lock-down in history. Hundreds of officers from local, state and federal agencies vainly combed a seven-mile area looking for an armed gunman in his 40s with a long, gray pony tail. Helicopters, SWAT teams and K9 units were deployed.
Children from nine schools remained locked in their classrooms for seven hours, unable to get access to restrooms or food out of fears that the suspect would enter a campus and create a hostage situation.
“I’m flabbergasted. I don’t know what to say,” City Councilman Dennis Zine told AOL News. “To do something like this is unconscionable, stupid and asinine. To stage something like this puts a very negative mark on himself and law enforcement.”
Zine said that the incident caused panic and hysteria in the community and that investigators spent hundreds of hours looking for a suspect in the following days.
“If this is true, we need to go after him to repay the taxpayers,” said Zine, a former LAPD officer. “I would press for a civil claim against him. I’ve spent 43 years in law enforcement, and I can’t fathom coming up with this story.”
After the shooting, Stenroos, 30, was transported by ambulance to a hospital, where he was treated and released for a bruised chest caused by his bulletproof vest. The bullet hit him squarely in the center, and authorities praised the device for saving his life. He worked with a sketch artist that evening, and on the following day a composite drawing of the alleged suspect was widely disseminated.
At least two men who fit the description of the suspect were detained and later released.
Beck refused to give further details on how the shooting occurred, saying the investigation is ongoing. However, CBS2-TV cited an unidentified source as saying Stenroos was mishandling his gun when he was shot.
Los Angeles’ KFI640 radio reported that no neighbors in the vicinity of the shooting heard a gunshot and that investigators soon began to doubt Stenroos’ story.
The school district’s superintendent, John Deasy, dismissed any negative claims in the following days, telling ABC7-TV that Stenroos — an eight-year veteran of the Los Angeles School Police Department — has “an impeccable record and should not be questioned.”
Apparently, Stenroos’ chief was taken by surprise as well, because his department’s website on Thursday night still had a notification on its home page wishing Stenroos a speedy recovery and saying, “We expect him to be back with the team soon.”
In a tersely worded statement titled “An Embarrassment to Law Enforcement,” Paul Weber, the head of the LAPD’s officers’ union, apologized to the community on behalf of the police and said Stenroos deserves to be in jail if the allegations are true.

HPV Vaccinations are Unnecessary and Harmful
December 21, 2010 by admin

December 21st, 2010
Natural News
By: Paul Fassa
Recently in Florida, two teens from the same family came down with serious vaccine injuries from Gardasil vaccinations. That`s not unusual. Lots of young ladies have been injured from HPV vaccinations. But these teen siblings were not both female. The older brother had received the shot and was stricken also.
Several states were considering making HPV vaccinations mandatory for school children before they`re allowed to attend. Not only are these vaccinations proving to be dangerous with horrendous side effects, but they are also unnecessary. The disease it supposedly shields is rare, contagious only through sex, and usually heals with little or no treatment.
What HPV Vaccines are About
The medical claim is that HPV, or human papilloma virus, can be transmitted through sex and cause cervical cancer. So of course, there must be a vaccine created to prevent this. At first it was for the young ladies aged from as early as nine to twenty-six.
So why are males getting this shot now? The current claim is males can also contract or spread the HPV virus through sex. Somehow an HPV wart that may occur on the genitals can become cancerous? This nonsense is believed wholly by the media and school administrators as well as gullible parents.
But here`s what Dr. Diane Harper, who helped develop Gardasil, said to attendees of the Fourth International Public Conference on Vaccination: “Gardasil is largely unnecessary, and it has never been fully tested on females under the age of 15 …[there`s] little need for the vaccine”.
Dr. Harper revealed that 70 percent of HPV infected recover within a year without treatment. Within two years, 90 percent recover. Of the remaining ten percent, few become cancerous. She further stated that cervical cancer is treatable and diminishing.
HPV is simply a medical term for genital warts. There are over 120 strains, and 99 percent of them are harmless.
Bury the Vaccine Damage; Blame the Victims
The two Florida teenagers had terrible side effects, typical of thousands who had received one or all three of the HPV vaccination series over the past few years. The younger girl had a grand mal seizure, a type of epileptic fit involving the whole body. First the authorities accused the girl of taking drugs. Because of her facial injuries from thrashing about during the seizure, they accused the father of beating her.
A few months later, the older son also had a grand mal seizure after his HPV vaccination. Although the mother had managed to discover the connection for the daughter`s reactions to HPV vaccinations, the doctors had a hard time believing the son even had the shot. They were convinced that HPV vaccinations were only for girls!
Both teenagers still have lingering problems after their initial seizures, even though they did not continue with the complete HPV vaccination series of three shots.
A Long List of Victims
The Florida incidents occurred after assurances that there were no dangers from the vaccinations. After all, what harm would aluminum adjuvants, polysorbate 80, which induces sterility, and sodium borate, used in roach poisons and known to cause seizures and death, cause when injected directly into the bloodstream?
By clicking a couple of the links in the sources section below, you`ll discover some of the reported incidents which include seizures, permanent early dementia, paralysis, and death from HPV vaccine injuries.
SaneVax lists almost 20,600 adverse events and 89 deaths from HPV vaccinations. These episodes are only what have been reported. There have to be more since many are unwilling or unable to make the connection of serious health problems from vaccinations.

What To Do Before and After a Forced Vaccination
December 6, 2010 by admin
It’s that time of year again when doctor’s offices and retail stores are pushing you to get a flu shot. Many of you have written me concerned because your employer has forced you to get a vaccination or your child’s school has forced them to get vaccinated. Here are some tips on what to do before AND after a forced vaccination directly from three of my dearest friends, Fred Van Liew and Dr. Jeff McCombs.
Since homeopathy was 98% successful in treating the flu in 1918, I would use it for treatment of the flu, as well as for pre- and post-vaccine usage. In 1918, they used Gelsemium and Byronia. MDs had a 30% death rate through their medical treatments, while Homeopathic practitioners had only a 1.05% death rate. Recently doctors in Mexico treated the flu with homeopathics – Baptistia Tinctorea, Inflenzinum, and Arsenicum album.
Other good choices include:
From HeelUSA.com:
Preventative – Engystol – is a safe, doctor-recommended product designed to support the immune system against the symptoms of flu, including fever, body aches and chills. Appropriate for all ages
Treatment–
Gripp – For the temporary relief of symptoms associated with viral infections, particularly influenza, such as fever, malaise, body aches and painful joints. Aconitum – For the temporary relief of cold or flu symptoms including fever, chills, cough and nausea, particularly at the onset of the illness. Sinusin – For the temporary relief of nasal congestion, rhinitis, sinusitis, cold and flu nasal symptoms
Vaccines can cause an overactive immune response which will deplete the body of protein necessary to run the immune system. For this reason, make sure that you get plenty of protein in your diet. A good source of protein in a highly bioavailable amino acid form would be All Basic amino acids from Montiff, Inc
Immunocal – 1-2 packets a day. Supplies precursors to glutathione, the most abundant antioxidant in the body. This will help to detoxify the toxic additives (adjuvants) used in vaccines and boost the immune system response at a cellular level
Echinacea and vitamin C found in our Detox Essentials formulation – 4, 2-3x/day. Echinacea was the treatment of choice for colds and flus prior to the introduction of antibiotics in the late 1940s -
Vitamin D to boost immune responses and reduce inflammation and autoimmune responses – 2000-400IUs a day Zinc – 25-50mg a day -
Vitamin E – 400-800 IUs a day – 4Spectrum E
Drink plenty of water (1 quart for every 50lbs) and eat foods rich in vitamin C. Four to five servings each of fruits and vegetables each day.
Eat plenty of protein as this fuels the Immune system and the enzyme systems of the body.
Regular sweating sessions via saunas and hot baths helps to detox the body and boost the immune system
Exercise regularly and get plenty of sleep.
Hypersensitivity to eggs, neomycin, or polymyxin, or life-Threatening reactiosn to previous vaccines is a contra-indication for using the vaccines.
A neurological condition called Guillain-Barre Syndrome that can cause paralysis is a possible side-effect.
Immunocompromised individuals are warned against using the vaccine. This can include: infants; the elderly; anyone who is currently sick or overworked; anyone on a high sugar diet; anyone who consumes dyes; anyone lacking in sleep; AIDS patients; chemotherapy patients, cancer patients; recent surgey patients; etc.
36,000 die form the flu in the US every year, even with current goverment recommended vaccine protocols, yet as of Oct 18, 2009, only 4,999 have died worldwide according to the WHO.
GlaxoSmith-Klei’n's vaccine is pending approval. Here are some things you should know about the vaccine:
Glaxo-Smith-Kline Pandemrix
No safety pharmacology studies were performed with Pandemrix vaccine.
Secondary pharmacodynamic studies were not performed.
No studies were performed on drug interactions
Experimental studies to demonstrate absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion of the active ingredients in Pandemrix have not been performed.
No carcinogenicity studies were conducted
No environmental risk assessment
There is no safety experience in children.
There are no data on co-administration of Pandemrix with other vaccines.
German officials recommend against the use of Pandremix in children due to the toxic adjuvants.
Testing:
Increases in fibrinogen and white blood cell counts were noted in temporal association with
the erythema and oedema noted on observing the rabbits. Relative to body weight, the spleen weight was increased in all groups compared to the control (7 – 41%). A SWOLLEN SPLEEN.
From Tim O’Shea, DC:
5 manufacturers having begun clinical trials only in August 2009, none scheduled for completion until next April, it is an astounding lesson in vaccine politics that the FDA approved the untested H1N1 vaccine on 15 Sep 09, just one month after the testing began!
We see precisely the same sequence of events that led to the last swine flu fiasco in 1976 – 50 million were vaccinated with that untested vaccine. 21 deaths, 565 paralyzed, withdrawn in 10 weeks. And never replaced. Never replaced – that’s the point. Why not? If the threat was so urgent that we had to start vaccinating before the vaccine was even tested, then where did that threat go? Why didn’t we just withdraw the toxic vaccine and then continue with researching and testing to develop one that worked?

School Staffers May Have Received Insulin Instead of Flu Vaccine
January 20, 2010 by admin

January 20, 2010
ABC News
By Joseph Brownstein
When staff members at a Wellesley, Mass., school went to the nurse last Friday, they expected to be injected with a vaccine for theH1N1 flu. What they received instead was a shot of insulin resulting in a bout with low blood sugar.
While the staffers seem to be suffering no long-term damage from mistakenly receiving the insulin injections, investigations are ongoing to determine what caused the medical error. Indications thus far have been that a school nurse was responsible. The nurse has been temporarily relieved of duty.
While ABC News contacted people at the departments of health for the town of Wellesley and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, as well as the Wellesley School District, it remains unclear how the flu vaccine, which is distributed in pre-filled syringes, was mistaken for insulin, which is drawn from a vial because each dose needs to be calibrated when it is given.
Such errors have happened before. This past fall, a number of people in the neighboring town of Needham received a seasonal flu vaccine in place of the H1N1 vaccines they were supposed to receive. And in 2007, a teacher in the nearby town of Attleboro also received an injection of insulin instead of the intended flu shot.
“Mistakes can always be made,” said Lisa Lowery, a registered nurse and immunizations program manager for the Visiting Nurse Service in Indianapolis. While she is reluctant to blame the nurse, she said other steps can be taken to avoid such a problem.
The benefit of having a nurse specifically performing a vaccination clinic, according to Lowery, is that it allows the nurse to be more focused. “You’re in a habit of doing what you’re doing. You’re doing one vaccine and only one vaccine,” she said.
“In practices, you’re taught to take the bottle to another nurse and have her double-check what you’re about to give,” she said — a situation that isn’t possible when a school nurse alone is administering vaccine.
“That nurse is not used to injecting vaccines as a school nurse,” said Lowery. “It would have been her habit to pick up insulin. Having someone to back them up and check them out would have prevented some more errors. If you’re holding a vaccination clinic, use someone who’s used to doing that.”
Kay Renny, a registered nurse and manager of community programs for the Visiting Nurse Association of Southeast Michigan in Detroit said other steps are typically taken to avoid such a problem.
She said when her nurses are giving out both seasonal and swine flu vaccines, they do so in two separate lines with two separate forms, which do not look alike, so that nurses — who are only administering one shot — will notice. “This is the first year where we’re administering two flu vaccines at the same time,” she said, explaining it presented a new challenge.
When a mistake happens, “It doesn’t hurt them, but it doesn’t help them. What they want is what they’re there for,” said Renny. “You try to put steps in place to avoid that happening.”
