School Children Mistakenly Given Insulin Instead of Vaccine

Wellesley school officials say several staff members at an elementary school had to be taken to the hospital after being injected with insulin rather than the swine flu vaccine they were supposed to get.
Superintendent Bella Wong said no students were ever in danger at Friday’s vaccine clinic for staff at Schofield Elementary School and all the people who got the wrong shot have recovered.
Wong, in a letter to staff and parents Monday, said the insulin belonged to students with diabetes and was provided by their parents.
Wong said in the letter that the school nurse who administered the insulin to staff has been placed on paid administrative leave pending an investigation. She did not give the nurse’s name.

WHO to Review its Handling of Swine Flu Pandemic

The United Nations health agency will review the way it dealt with the outbreak of swine flu once the pandemic has subsided, WHO spokeswoman Fadela Chaib told a news briefing.
“Criticism is part of an outbreak cycle. We expect and indeed welcome criticism and the chance to discuss it,” she said, adding the WHO’s review would involve independent outside experts and its results would be made public.
But she said it was too soon to say when the examination would take place or which experts would be involved.
In the latest complaint about the way authorities have dealt with the pandemic, the Council of Europe, a political forum of most European countries, is to determine whether drug companies influenced public health officials to spend money unnecessarily on stockpiles of H1N1 vaccines.
Chaib said the WHO took its work of providing independent advice to its 193 member states seriously, and guarded against the influence of vested interests.
Several countries are cutting back orders for H1N1 vaccines as it becomes clear that the outbreak, declared a global pandemic by the WHO in June, is not as severe as at first feared.
Governments will have an opportunity to question the WHO about H1N1 at a meeting of its 34-member board next week.
The WHO’s top flu expert, Keiji Fukuda, will brief the board on January 18 about the latest developments in the first influenza pandemic in more than 40 years.
Developing countries still lack adequate access to both antivirals and vaccines despite donations from industrialized countries and drug makers, the WHO said.
Some 200 million doses of H1N1 vaccine and funding of some $12 million have been pledged to date, it said in a document prepared for the board.
“Significant progress in international solidarity has been achieved, through donations by developed countries and manufacturers, but overall access to antiviral medicines and vaccines in developing countries remains limited,” it said.
GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis and Sanofi-Aventis are among H1N1 vaccine producers.
The WHO last week delivered donated H1N1 vaccine to Mongolia and Azerbaijan, the first of 95 developing and middle-income countries targeted to receive supplies.
It aims to provide these countries with enough vaccine to cover 10 percent of their populations, with health care workers a top priority.
The WHO said last week that southern hemisphere countries struck by H1N1 last year are now broadly protected against new infections, and sickness levels are declining in much of the northern hemisphere, including North America where it first emerged last April.
According to lab-confirmed cases, swine flu has killed at least 12,799 people, but the real toll is much higher and will take several years to establish, the WHO says.
GlaxoSmithKline Receives Huge Revenue Boost From Swine Flu

Cash tills are ringing at GlaxoSmithKline thanks to soaring demand for its swine flu vaccine Pandemrix, and Relenza, which treats the symptoms of the illness that has led to hundreds of deaths around the world. Analysts predict a £1bn revenue windfall in 2010 as governments stockpile medicines designed to combat a possible pandemic.
GSK has landed 22 government contracts since last summer, with 440m doses ordered. The company makes the vaccine in Dresden and Quebec, but demand is so great – about 60% higher than for usual seasonal vaccines – that it is outsourcing production to third-party manufacturers. In the UK, there are plans to vaccinate the entire population if necessary, and the government has given the go-ahead for vulnerable people, such as pregnant women, frontline health workers and young children, to be inoculated.
Andrew Witty, GSK’s chief executive for the past 18 months, stresses that the company has worked hard to come up with a vaccine and that “it would be foolish to deny that events like these aren’t good for business”.
GSK has been planning for a pandemic for three-and-a-half years has and spent more than £1bn to ensure its factories could crank up production at short notice. “We don’t know how big this deal is going to be, but no one can say we aren’t ready,” says Witty.
But the boost to revenue is a drop in the ocean when you consider group sales for this year are estimated at £28bn. The headline-grabbing stories about swine flu also mask the quiet revolution Witty has been executing since he took over from Jean-Pierre Garnier, his controversial predecessor who provoked storms over the size of his pay package.
Witty says his strategy is to reduce reliance on a few blockbuster medicines in developed countries and diversify into emerging markets, which he portrays as a potential El Dorado.
With patents having expired on some of its best-selling medicines in the past three years, GSK has concluded that expansion in Latin America, the Middle East and Asia can plug the gap in revenues as competition from cheap generic drugs threaten to blow a gaping hole in group finances. Income from a medicine that loses patent protection can drop by up to 80% in two years.
Abbas Hussein, head of GSK’s emerging markets business, says the sector’s value stands at £50bn but will double by 2015, and by 2020 will be worth as much as today’s US market: “We have grown our emerging-markets business quite dramatically; it now accounts for 13% of group sales and is expanding at 19% a year. This should be no surprise when you consider that a new middle class as big as the UK’s population is created in developing regions each year.”
Navid Malik, analyst at Matrix Corporate Capital, says GSK’s strategy is all about “changing the business model to deliver sustainable earnings growth by trying to iron out the peaks and troughs that flow from being over-reliant on a handful of products in the US and Europe”. The new approach is also about broadening its product range. Last year it agreed a $3.6bn ($2.2bn) deal to buy skincare specialist Stiefel Laboratories in the US.
Along with other companies, GSK is to cut the prices it charges for medicines in developing countries as part of a drive to exploit demand in faster-growing economies. The industry, which stands accused of cherry-picking rich patients in poor countries who can pay western prices, has been forced by healthcare authorities in the Philippines to reduce prices or risk exclusion. Turkey is also poised to demand substantial cuts. To ensure continued unfettered access to emerging markets – and to curry goodwill – it is perhaps no surprise that pharmaceutical companies have made donations, or offered deep discounts on some drugs, notably antiretrovirals for HIV.

Swine Flu Clinics For Schoolchildren Will Open in January

Evening clinics will open the second week of January for Hillsborough County children needing a second dose of the swine flu vaccine.
The Hillsborough County Health Department has been holding vaccination clinics at local public and private schools since October. Visits to the area’s middle and high schools are complete, health department spokesman Steve Huard said.
The only events planned now involve after-hours clinics for elementary school-age children, many of whom need a second dose of the vaccine. Children 9 years and younger need two doses of the H1N1 vaccine, at least 21 days apart, in order for it to be effective.
Evening clinics that offer the follow-up to the free vaccination will start Jan. 11. Parents will get specific information about the clinics through their child’s school.
Huard said it is critical that parents bring to the clinic proof of the earlier dose of the vaccine. Doses will not be effective unless they are administered far enough apart.

While many people are still waiting for swine-flu vaccine to become available in their area, there is a lot they can do in their own kitchens to help fight off disease and build a strong immune system.
Scientists in the growing field of nutritional immunology are unveiling new evidence of the complex role that nutrition plays in fighting off infectious diseases like influenza. A diet rich in nutrients such as vitamin A, found in colorful fruits and vegetables, and zinc, found in seafood, nuts and whole grains, can provide the critical fuel the body needs to fight off disease, heal injuries, and survive illness when it does strike, experts say.
Scientists are still studying all the complex ways in which nutrients interact with the immune system. There is still much that they don’t know about minerals such as zinc, for instance, including how they are absorbed and all the roles they play in the body. But scientists do know that certain vitamins and minerals can improve the body’s ability to fight off infection: Studies in healthy elderly adults, for example, have shown an improved immune response to vaccination and fewer infections after receiving extra doses of vitamin E.
To create immune cells to fight off a specific infection, the body has to rapidly draw nutrients from the bloodstream, says Anuraj Shankar, a researcher at the Harvard School of Public Health. “If you don’t have an adequate intake of vitamins and minerals, you won’t be able to produce the number of immune cells you need, and the immune cells you do produce may be compromised,” Dr. Shankar says. That makes it impossible to mount an effective response to infection, he says.
The benefits of good nutrition may have been recognized first by Hippocrates, the ancient Greek physician who declared “let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food.” An 18th century naval surgeon’s discovery that citrus fruits could cure scurvy in sailors was later recognized as a vitamin C deficiency, and after the 1930s, when dairies began to fortify milk with vitamin D, the disease known as rickets was virtually eliminated in the U.S.
Researchers warn that malnourished people may be a breeding ground for more dangerous infectious diseases. Animal studies at the University of North Carolina show that in a host with poor nutrition, viruses mutate in the face of a weak immune response to become more powerful. And once those mutations occur, even well-nourished hosts are susceptible to the newly virulent virus. “A lot of people may think malnutrition on the other side of the world isn’t their problem,” says Melinda A. Beck, a researcher at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. But malnutrition “is a driving force in emerging infectious diseases that are spreading around the world,” she says.
The human body doesn’t have to be starving to suffer from malnutrition. Studies show that obesity, in addition to its other health risks, may also make people more susceptible to infections like the flu. A diet heavy on processed and fast foods may be low in the vitamins and minerals important for health. And diets that are high in saturated fat appear to actually depress the body’s immune response, increasing the risk of infections.
1.5M PER DAY Receive Swine Flu Vaccine in China

China’s health minister said Wednesday his country is vaccinating 1.5 million people a day against swine flu, part of a mammoth effort to reach nearly 7 percent of inhabitants of the world’s most populous country by year’s end.
Chen Zhu told The Associated Press that more than 15 million Chinese have been immunized so far.
He also defended China’s aggressive quarantine of foreigners with flulike symptoms as well as health detentions of its own citizens.
“With initial efforts of containment, actually we not only reduced the impact of the first wave to China, but we also won time for us to prepare the vaccine” now being given to China’s people, Chen said in an interview during the Havana meeting of the Global Forum for Health Research.
After the swine flu first appeared in Mexico last spring, China put Mexican visitors — and people from other countries who had set foot in Mexico — in weeklong quarantines and monitored them for the virus, whether or not they seemed sick.
Chinese authorities also isolated entire planeloads of international visitors if someone on board experienced flulike symptoms. They pulled passengers off trains and blocked access to villages if someone got sick after coming into contact with a foreigner.
Such measures are easier to impose in an authoritarian state. They sparked protests around the world, but when asked if they were successful, Chen said: “Exactly, very successful, exactly.”
“We are confident the situation is under control,” he said.
Chen said officials have moved past containing swine flu and are focusing now on improving emergency room treatment to keep those with the most urgent cases of the virus from dying.
He said China developed its swine flu vaccine in late August and plans to give it to 1.5 million Chinese a day in November and December, in hopes that 80 million to 90 million will have been vaccinated by the end of 2009. That would be nearly 7 percent of the population — and officials hope to vaccinate an additional 3 percent in January and February.
“We know this is not enough for a population of 1.3 billion, but at least for the vulnerable people, for the students, people with underlying basic diseases and, in the future, for pregnant women, we have vaccines,” Chen said.
He added that vaccinating medical personnel is also a top priority, to protect their patients.
Tom Skinner, spokesman for the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, said that by comparison, the United States has allocated 49 million swine flu vaccine doses since late September.
He said American manufacturers are capable of producing well over 1 million vaccines a day — and China’s factories and health officials could do better than that amid a major vaccination campaign.

Doctors Urged to Push Swine Flu Vaccine on Patients

Doctors in Britain are effectively being bribed by health authorities to push the swine flu vaccine on a reluctant public after suspicions over the safety of the shot resulted in huge numbers of people refusing to take it.
The government originally intended for the entire population of the UK to receive the H1N1 vaccine but less than half have indicated that they will take the shot.
Multiple opinion polls have revealed that half of GPs i [2]n Britain have severe reservations and doubts over the safety of the shot.
A much larger Nursing Times magazine [3] poll in August also found that 30% of all frontline nurses said they would refuse to be immunized, with another 33% saying they were unsure over the vaccine.
50% of pregnant women [4] in the UK have also said they will refuse the vaccine.
This resistance has prompted health authorities to bribe doctors to push the vaccine on the public in the form of new bonuses for each and every shot they give, on top of those already in place.
“NHS managers in Birmingham have told family doctors they will be able to get extra payments – on top of the £5.25 they already get per jab – if they meet targets on vaccination rates,” reports the Daily Mail [5].
“If they vaccinate more than 90 per cent of those deemed at risk of the disease in their area, they will get 50 per cent more per jab, meaning they will be paid £7.88 for every person they vaccinate.”
Doctors who achieve a 40 per cent uptake will receive an extra 10 per cent bonus. In total, the bonuses are potentially worth thousands of pounds per practice.
Critics expressed outrage that doctors were effectively being bribed to become drug pushers for the government.
Jackie Fletcher, of vaccination support group Jabs, said: ‘There are huge questions about the integrity of vaccine decisions if doctors are paid to give them.
‘All vaccines carry a risk of side effects. Can we be confident GPs will tell patients about these risks if they are being paid extra to ensure a high uptake?
‘Rather than paying bonuses, the Department of Health should be investigating possible side effects.’
As we highlighted last week, mass resistance to the vaccine has prompted elitists to devise deceptive schemes in an attempt to get more people to take the shot. During a recent Council on Foreign Relations meeting, Andrew Jack, Pharmaceutical Correspondent for the Financial Times, conceded that “the anti-vaccine movement is having a field day on the internet” and that the CFR, via its many members which occupy prominent positions in the establishment media, should conspire to counter negative information about the swine flu vaccine.
At around the same time, Sir Liam Donaldson, the Chief Medical Officer in England, described people who express doubts [7] about the swine flu vaccine as “extremists”.
During another part of the discussion on whether or not the vaccine should be made mandatory for health workers and school children, Lone Simonsen, Research Professor and Research Director at the Department of Global Health, George Washington University, suggests creating an artificial scarcity in order to ramp up demand for the vaccine.
“I think what would work better would be to say that there was a shortage and people tend to buy more of something that’s in demand. (Laughter.) We saw that — there was one season where, really, people lined up all night to get a flu shot.” Simonsen says, much to the amusement of the other attendees at the symposium.
But this is exactly the scam being run by the corporate media. Endless stories about shortages in supply, allied with footage of members of the public queuing for hours to receive the vaccine, have created a contrived sense of scarcity, similar to how toy companies manufacture a stampede for a particular item before Christmas by floating stories about something being low in stock.

Today, the MSM are not talking about this case any more. Yesterday, they wanted us to believe that Joseph Moshe was a nutcase and a terrorist, arrested for threatening to bomb the White House. Interesting detail about his arrest (the “Westwood standoff”) was that he seemed to be immune to the 5 cans of tear gas and 5 gallons of law-enforcement grade pepper spray they pumped into his face. He very calmly remained in his car, as the video footage of his arrest shows.
Professor Moshe had called into a live radio show by Dr. A. True Ott, broadcast on Republic Broadcasting claiming to be a microbiologist who wanted to supply evidence to a States Attorney regarding tainted H1N1 Swine flu vaccines being produced by Baxter BioPharma Solutions. He said that Baxter’s Ukrainian lab was in fact producing a bioweapon disguised as a vaccine. He claimed that the vaccine contained an adjuvant (additive) designed to weaken the immune system, and replicated RNA from the virus responsible for the 1918 pandemic Spanish flu, causing global sickness and mass death.
Sources tell us that Bar-Joseph Moshe made no threat against the President or the White House. He did not mention any bomb or attack. He then proceeded to inform the White House he intended to go public with this information. When he noticed men in suits in front of his house and feared that the FBI was about to detain him, he packed some belongings into his car and, him being a dual Israeli citizen, tried to reach the Israeli consulate located in close proximity to the federal building where the standoff took place. The FBI and the bomb squad prevented him from reaching it. Who is this man? His profile on biomedexperts.com says he is a plant disease expert with many publications on his name involving the genetic manipulation of virii. Joseph Moshe was soon after his arrest sent or let go to Israel. Nothing has been heard from him since. The Secret Service was not the agency involved in the surveillance of Moshe at his home in California. This was done by the FBI, who had orders to detain or arrest him. Mounted on top of a large black vehicle used in his arrest was a microwave weapon that possibly damaged the electronics in Moshe’s car as well as any communication devices he had which might have been used to contact the media or others who could help him.
Moshe did not suffer the same effects of the gas and pepper spray that others would have because he had built up an immunity to such weapons as a by-product of his Mossad training. Moshe was not handcuffed because he was not placed under arrest.
Does this sound like an insane conspiracy theory? Sure it does. Due to the scarcity and anonimity of the sources we would dismiss it as exactly that, if it weren’t for some uncomfortable facts: Baxter Pharmaceutical has been caught, red-handed, in spreading a live, genetically engineered H5N1 Bird flu vaccine as a lethal biological weapon all over the world, destined to be used for human vaccinations. This happened just a few months ago. And only luck prevented a global catastrophe of epic proportions.
Baxter International Inc. had mixed live, genetically engineered avian flue viruses in vaccine material shipped to 18 countries. Only by sheer luck, a Czech laboratory decided to test the vaccine on a dozen ferrets, which all died in days. The World Health Organization was notified and catastrophe was averted. This was clearly a deliberate act on Baxter’s part, because they adhere to BS3, bio-safety level three. Baxter admitted a “mistake”. Such monumental screwups are totally impossible at that level. Many safety systems would have needed to be sabotaged, many key personell would have needed to be bribed. It simply can’t be done without direction from the inside. They did not send out the wrong vial – they produced dozens of gallons of biological-weapon agent (genetically engineered live H5N1 / Bird flu virus), then sent it out as a “vaccine”.
Baxter knew full well that their vaccine was lethal, because the year before they had tested it on a few hundred homeless Polish people – dozens died as a result.
Where’s the meat? Well – Baxter is now being sued for the deliberate, repeated contamination of vaccines with biological weapons designed – by them – to mass-murder people.
Motive? The latter complaint alludes to it. Have you heard of the Georgia Guidestones? An enormous monument loaded with Masonic symbolism costing millions of dollars, it has been erected by unknown, powerful elites (multimillionaires with the clout to erect monuments wherever they please, obviously) around 30 years ago. It gives an “alternative ten commandments”, of which the first is the extermination of six and a half billion people from the face of the Earth. Half a billion will remain. This is the number of people the planet can sustain indefinitely, so that the descendents of the Rothschilds and Rockefellers can live in peace and affluence indefinitely. Slaves are needed to produce that luxury, but 500 million will do just fine. But how does one go about killing off most of the world?
“Vaccinating” the planet with a bioweapon with near-100% mortality would do the trick. Baxter would provide both the bioweapon as well as the vaccine against it to “civilized” Western peoples. Result: We can plunder Africa, we have no more competition from SE Asia, the oil is for our taking and only Western and perhaps Chinese sheeple remain.
Rockefeller said this in 1994 at a U.N. dinner: “We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis, and the nations will accept the New World Order.” PNAC said something similar right before 9/11.
