A British peer has allegedly announced a £10-million bounty for Barack Obama and George W. Bush, prompting his suspension from the UK’s Labour party. Lord Ahmed denies this, saying his comments about the Iraq and Afghanistan wars were misunderstood.

It all began with the announcement from Washington of a $10-million bounty for information that would lead to the capture and conviction of Hafiz Saeed, suspected of taking part in the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks.

“If the US can announce a reward of $10 million for the captor of Hafiz Saeed, I can announce a bounty of £10 million on President Obama and his predecessor George Bush,” Ahmed was quoted by Pakistani newspaper the Express Tribune as saying. The paper also said Lord Ahmed was prepared to arrange the bounty at any cost, even if that meant selling all his personal assets, including his house.

Lord Ahmed allegedly made the comments at a reception in his honor in Haripur, Pakistan.

The Labour party, of which Lord Ahmed is a member, responded swiftly by suspending his membership and starting an investigation into the matter.

“If these comments are accurate we utterly condemn these remarks which are totally unacceptable,” a party spokesperson told the BBC.

Lord Ahmed denies the claims he set up a bounty.

“This is what is wrong with chain restaurants. At first glace, you might think this is an American idea. Nope, this is available in the UK only. This should automatically warn you that Pizza Hut does not care about the food they serve or the health and well being of their customers. There is nothing wrong with the occasional pizza – homemade, whole wheat and organic.” –KTRN

Pizza with hot dogs baked into the crust exists now. Because in a world where people line up for KFC’s Double Down and Maple Bacon Sundaes from Burger King, why not?

Pizza Hut U.K. is the latest fast food franchise to hop aboard the extreme cuisine trend with their newest menu item, billed as “succulent hot dog sausage bursting from our famous stuffed crust with a FREE Mustard Drizzle.”

21 Signs That The UK Is Being Transformed Into A Hellish Big Brother Surveillance Society

The American Dream

By Michael Snyder

“If you think big brother is bad in the US, it’s actually far worse in other parts of the world.” –KTRN

Why would anyone want to live in the UK at this point? Well, if you enjoy having every little detail of your life dictated to you by elitist control freaks then you might like living there. But most of the rest of the world is absolutely horrified that the UK is being transformed into a hellish Big Brother surveillance society. The UK truly is on the “cutting edge” when it comes to implementing liberty-killing rules and regulations. Many have pointed out that the United States is becoming a Big Brother police state, but the truth is that the UK is even worse. The madness going on in the UK is where the rest of the world is headed. Right now, there are more surveillance cameras per capita in the UK than anywhere else in the world. If you accidentally drop a couple of potato chips in public or if you whisper a phrase that is not politically correct in a restaurant there is a good chance that you will be hauled into court. In the UK, the public has been sold the lie that society will be better off if everything and everyone is constantly monitored. But instead of improving society, what all of this surveillance is really doing is turning the entire nation into a very frightening version of George Orwell’s 1984.

Sadly, most of the rest of the globe is going down the exact same path that the UK has gone. The UK is several years ahead of most of the rest of us, but eventually almost every nation on earth will be just like them.

The following are 21 signs that the UK is being transformed into a hellish Big Brother surveillance society….

#1 A new UK law will allow the government “listening agency” to openly monitor all phone calls, all emails, all website visits, all Facebook status updates and all text messages.

The following is from a recent article in the Telegraph….

Under legislation expected in next month’s Queen’s Speech, internet companies will be instructed to install hardware enabling GCHQ – the Government’s electronic “listening” agency – to examine “on demand” any phone call made, text message and email sent, and website accessed in “real time”, The Sunday Times reported.

#2 Police in the UK use advanced software that enables them to track the “digital footprints” of virtually anyone that they want to investigate. The following is how one news report in the UK described this software….

The Metropolitan Police has bought Geotime, a security programme used by the U.S. military which tracks suspects’ movements and communications and displays them on a three-dimensional graphic.

The software aggregates information gathered from social networking sites, GPS devices like the iPhone, mobile phones, financial transactions and IP network logs to build a detailed picture of an individual’s movements.

#3 In the UK there is a “three strikes” rule that allows your entire family to be cut off from the Internet if anyone who lives in your house is accused of copyright infringement three times.

#4 In the UK, free speech on the Internet is rapidly becoming a thing of the past. A recent UK government report calls for Internet service providers to remove as much “extremist material” from the Internet as possible. The following is an excerpt from that report….

UFO Information Disappears From UK Ministry Of Defense – Again

“The USA isn’t the only country keeping UFO secrets to themselves.” –KTRN

One of the best poster-size images of a 1990 UFO mysteriously disappeared from the wall of Britain’s Ministry of Defense somewhere between 1991 to 1994, along with other UFO originals and negatives. According to Huffington Post, “The photo was one of six taken by a pair of hikers who spotted a strange diamond-shaped object in the sky over Pitlochry, Scotland, on Aug. 4, 1990. It appeared to hover in the air near an Royal Air Force Harrier jet. Eyewitnesses reported seeing the unusual object above the ground for nearly 10 minutes before it zoomed away at high speed.

” This is not the first UFO disappearance in Britain of important information. Key documentation that related to the Rendlesham Forest UFO incident has also disappeared without any explanation. Rendlesham consists of mysterious lights reported by US servicemen at RAF Woodbridge in Suffolk in 1980. The missing papers were found when 8,000 UFO files were released to the public, a huge gap found by officials where the files should have been. Whether the British government deleted the current missing UFO files is debatable, based on the country’s history of claiming “missing files.”

In 1977, Prime Minister of Grenada Sir Eric Gairy planned on calling for the United Nations to set up a unit to investigate Britain’s missing UFO files. What sets this case apart are numerous eyewitness accounts, high-level interest from government officials, and the abrupt disappearance of the UFO photos and negatives.

According to the latest data, “governments around the world have been in regular contact with aliens for many decades. ‘Aliens have made both formal and informal contact with thousands of people throughout the world from all walks of life.” But according to released documents by the Ministry of Defence in 2010, Winston Churchill ordered a UFO sighting to be kept secret.

“Think you’ve heard it all? Pretty soon, psychiatrists are going to call racism a mental disorder so big pharma can create a drug for it.” –KTRN

There is no doubt that soon there will be a pharmaceutical drug for every condition, feeling, emotion, and sentiment, as drugs that supposedly treat perceived notions of racism or racial preference are already in the works. Researchers from Oxford University in the U.K. recently conducted a study they claim illustrates the alleged racism-curing benefits of certain heart medications that lower blood pressure and ease anxiety.

Birthed out of an apparent curiosity as to whether or not heart medications that target areas of the brain responsible for dealing with emotions and fear could also address racism, Dr. Sylvia Terbeck and her colleagues decided to conduct a study. Using 36 “white” people as test subjects, Dr. Terbeck and her team administered propranolol, a blood pressure and heart medication, to half the group, and a placebo to the other half.

From there, the team asked the two groups to fill out a questionnaire about which racial groups they liked and disliked, and also had both groups take an “Implicit Association Test.” This particular test involved evaluating the participants’ thought processes, both conscious and subconscious, as they concerned various images, words, and concepts related to racial groups.

Greece Officially Defaults, UK Prepares For Euro Collapse

UK Government prepares for Euro collapse and nuclear financial fallout of Moody’s officially declaring a Greece default on their sovereign debt.

Greece has now become the first developed western nation to default on its sovereign debt and, while the media is downplaying the consequences, no amount of propaganda and deception will be able hide the debris that will be scattered across Europe once the the financial shit-storm is done blowing over.

The consequences will be severe indeed as the spotlight focuses on the rest of the PIIGS nations while investors are forced to consider the situation in Greece, which does not bode well for the economic future of these nations nor is it a good omen for the future of the Euro.

While this can easily be written off as the speculation of some blogger, you’ll see below that the BBC reported that even the UK government issued a red alert warning just yesterday running the headline “UK must prepare for the collapse of the Euro” predicting that the events that unfolded today would soon come to fruition.

Scientists And Doctors Falsifying Research Data

“Not all doctors are this evil – some really do care.  But you really need to be careful about who you go see regarding your health.”  –KTRN

Medical doctors are nearly revered by many individuals for their medical knowledge accumulated after years of schooling. These doctors have gone through years of training in what is regarded as the western based medicine philosophy, where drugs and surgery are more or less their specialties. In addition to knowing virtually nothing about nutrition, natural solutions, and how to address the root causes of health conditions, many doctors, as well as scientist, have also been shown to be falsifying data in order to have research published. What’s more, many colleagues of the scandalous individuals are urged to keep quiet about what they know.

A survey of nearly 2,800 scientists and doctors in the UK has found that 13 percent of them admitted to witnessing the falsification and fabrication of data created by their colleagues. Additionally, 6 percent of the nearly 2,800 individuals surveyed were aware of research misconduct at their own workplace which had never been properly investigated to looked into. Needless to say, there could very well be more scientists or doctors not speaking up, further increasing the scandal rate.

Dr. Fiona Godlee, editor for the British Medical Journal, for which the poll was conducted, says:

“While our survey can’t provide a true estimate of how much research misconduct there is in the UK, it does show that there is a substantial number of cases and that UK institutions are failing to investigate adequately, if at all…The BMJ has been told of junior academics being advised to keep concerns to themselves to protect their careers, being bullied into not publishing their findings, or having their contracts terminated when they spoke out…This survey chimes with our experience where we see many cases of institutions not co-operating with journals and failing to investigate research misconduct properly.“

Interestingly enough, there is so much fraud occurring in the medical field that websites are popping up solely to target these numerous cases. Another medical fraud coming to light is the case involving Duke University and Anil Potti, a researcher formally known by mainstream medical experts for transforming cancer research for the better. However, the scientific papers published by Potti turned out to be completely falsified and skewered – a case showing and ultimately convincing many individuals that medical fraud can happen anytime and anywhere, even at high-status universities.

Anti-Diabetes Drugs May Cause Diabetes

Statin drugs are prescribed to lower cholesterol in the UK for obese patients, and also to those who have type-2 diabetes. But according to the Food and Drug Administration in the USA there is a risk of developing diabetes if you take statins — so much so that the FDA has demanded that warnings of the risk of the development of diabetes on put the labels of statin drugs distributed within the US. In the UK, however, there has been a reluctance to include a labelling policy as it would cause patients to be adverse to their treatment.

The link is a ‘statistical’ one; there is an increased risk of being affected by the risk of diabetes if you take the medicine. However, the link between the medicine and the side effect is severe enough for the FDA to act, which is a factor that the UK government seems to disregard. Other cases of this disregard forthe research of othernations includes the banning of all except eight artificial food colors in the USA and other nations, whereas the UK still allows several of these banned colors to remain on the market.

Huge Mysterious Lights Seen In Sky At Comrie

By The Courier

“Yet another UFO sighting. 2012 has already been a remarkable year for sightings all over the world. This phenomenon is not going away anytime soon.” –KTRN

A Comrie stargazer spotted the ”huge” orbs floating above Strathearn at 10pm before they disappeared ”very fast”.

The RAF at Leuchars was unable to shed any light on the sighting, deepening the intriguing mystery further.

Ken Heiser contacted The Courier after attempts to explain what can now only be described, in the truest sense, as an unidentified flying object came to nothing.

Even a search on an app detailing the commercial flights scheduled to cross the airspace above western Perthshire gave no answers.

Mr Heiser said he saw the UFO ”in the vicinity of Comrie” on Sunday between 10pm and 10.10pm.

”(I) looked on my app which has all commercial flights across the country and there were no flights in the area,” he said. ”The two very bright lights at first seemed to just hover in the north-east then came to the east of Comrie and then hovered and then disappeared very fast. Looking through the binoculars they appeared to be huge.”

Unfortunately he was unable to capture footage of the strange occurrence before it was over.

A spokesman for RAF Leuchars confirmed: ”I’ve spoken to our air traffic control and they have got nothing about that, so we’ve drawn a blank there I’m afraid.”

Rise In Resistant Bacteria Could Make Some Diseases Impossible To Treat

The Independent

By Jeremy Laurence

Britain is facing a “massive” rise in antibiotic-resistant blood poisoning caused by the bacterium E.coli – bringing closer the spectre of diseases that are impossible to treat.

Experts say the growth of antibiotic resistance now poses as great a threat to global health as the emergence of new diseases such as Aids and pandemic flu.

Professor Peter Hawkey, a clinical microbiologist and chair of the Government’s antibiotic-resistance working group, said that antibiotic resistance had become medicine’s equivalent of climate change.

The “slow but insidious growth” of resistant organisms was threatening to turn common infections into untreatable diseases, he said. Already, an estimated 25,000 people die each year in the European Union from antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections.

“It is a worldwide issue – there are no boundaries,” he said. “We have very good policies on the use of antibiotics in man and in animals in the UK. But we are not alone. We have to think globally.” Between 2005 and 2009 the incidence of E.coli “bacteraemias” [the presence of bacteria in the blood] rose by 30 per cent, from 18,000 to over 25,000 cases. Those resistant to antibiotics have risen from 1 per cent at the beginning of the century to 10 per cent.

“Only one in 20 of infections with [resistant] E.coli is a bacteraemia, so the above data are only the tip of an iceberg of infected individuals,” says a report produced by Professor Hawkey’s group, commissioned by the Department of Health and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.

Dame Sally Davies, the Government’s chief medical officer, has pledged £500,000 to fund research into the threat. Drug companies have lost interest in developing new antibiotics because it is increasingly difficult to find new agents and it is not commercially viable – antibiotics are taken for a few days, compared with, say, a heart drug which may be taken for life.

“There are only so many antibiotics available and as we lose them it becomes more and more difficult to replace them,” Professor Hawkey said.

The rapid rise in E.coli blood poisoning is thought to be linked with the ageing of the population. E.coli is a common cause of urinary-tract infections but may also cause wound infections following surgery or injury. These are regarded as minor conditions, but if they became untreatable they would be life-threatening.
